DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 01: Airport transfer.
On arrival at Entebbe, you will be received by our professional guide/drive and transfer to the hotel for relaxation after the long flight. Dinner and night stay at Lake Victorial View lodge.
Day 02: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
You will be picked from your hotel to then drive North West through Bombo to the Murchison falls with a stopover at Masindi town for lunch. It is approximately 5- 6 hours (300 kilometers) from Kampala. You will arrive in the evening hours and have Dinner and overnight stay at: Pakuba Lodge.
Day 03: Game drive and boat ride to the bottom of the Falls.
After an early morning breakfast you will start the day with an exciting game drive in the northern bank of the Nile. You have high chances of seeing game including; elephants, lions, giraffes, hartebeest and diverse bird species. Back to the lodge for lunch, then go for thrilling boat cruise in the afternoon at Kazinga channel as part of your safari for a look at the schools of hippos and the crocodiles. Dinner and overnight stay at: Pakuba Lodge.
Day 04: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
You will transfer to Kibale forest driving through the beautiful green countryside, traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments. It is about 7- 8 hours to arrive the park. You will arrive in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at: Primate Lodge.
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking & Bigodi Swamp
Have breakfast at the lodge and head to the briefing point before chimpanzee tracking. The forest is known for having the greatest number of chimpanzees in the whole of East Africa. While tracking these habituated chimps, you will come set your eyes at other primates including the white Colobus monkeys and many more. In the afternoon, go for Bigodi swamp well-known for its unique bird species and many primate species. Dinner and overnight stay at Primate Lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After a tasty breakfast, transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will peacefully be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy the beautiful landscape of this countryside as you approach Queen Elizabeth arriving in the late afternoon. You will have a game drive on arrival to view different game like the Buffaloes, Elephants and several antelopes. Dinner and overnight stay at Kyambura George.
Day 7: Game drive and Boat cruise.
Have an early breakfast and proceed with an early morning game drive to the Kob mating area in Kasenyi. Expect to see herds of elephants, buffaloes, lions and other fauna in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for an exciting boat cruise at the Kazinga channel. A large population of wildlife is found along this channel including buffalos, hippos and elephants. Dinner and overnight stay at: Kyambura George.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park.
Have breakfast then check out from your lodge transferring to Bwindi Forest national park- the home of the endangered mountain gorillas. You will drive via the Ishaha area, well-known for the tree climbing lions. It will take you 3-4 hours to reach Bwindi Park. Diner and overnight at: Nkuringo safari Lodge.
Day 9: Gorilla tracking
This day begins with the morning breakfast and a briefing at the park headquarters for briefing and hit the jungle to watch these forest giants with your own eyes. It could take you 30 minutes
