DETAILED ITINENARY
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
You will be picked from your hotel by one of our professional guide with who you will drive to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the south western parts of Uganda. The park is best known for holding more than half of the total population of mountain gorillas. Arrive in the park in the evening and if time allows, enjoy some entertainment by cultural dancers from the neighboring communities. Dinner and overnight at Engagi Lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, head to the park head-offices for a briefing before beginning the exciting gorilla tracking adventure. This is where the Gorilla groups are allocated to a group of 8 visitors and after a general briefing, a Uganda wildlife ranger guide with to the forest for the trek.
Spend an hour with the Gorillas and return after the successful tracking in the Impenetrable Forests of Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at Engagi Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Have a heavy breakfast and depart from Bwindi and to Kibale Forest National Park. The park is renowned for being habitat of the largest diversity of Chimps and numerous species of primates in East Africa. The park is comprised of several sections of rainforests which shelter several bird species, so birding is another possible activity. On arrival in the afternoon, you will visit the section with crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking
Set out for another incredible experience with primates as you track the Chimps in the verdant forest after having a delicious breakfast. You will be able to see other primates such as the baboons, Bush-babies, Colobus monkeys, the Mangabeys and many butterfly species and squirrels. The guide will make this trekking very thrilling as he shares his knowledge with you about the fauna and flora of the forest. Have lunch and then head out for a walk in the impressive Bigodi Swamp to enjoy birding and unveil the exceptional plant species and animals in this sanctuary. Dinner and night stay at Ndali lodge.
Day 5: Drive Back To Kampala
You will return to Kampala after breakfast at the lodge, Enjoy unforgettable memories of this trip as you drive through the countryside of this area heading to the capital Kampala. Have lunch along the way and proceed to the airport for your flight.
