Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi National Park.
Meet our representative to pick you up from the Kigali airport or your Hotel and be transferred to Bwindi impenetrable forest where you will spend the night. You will have a short tour around Kigali city and later drive to the borders of Uganda and Rwanda through Gatuna or kinigi depending on the Gorilla family to be tracked. On arrival check into the hotel and have dinner and night stay at Gorilla mist camp / Gorilla valley lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking & transfer to Kigali.
You will rise early for breakfast and head to the trekking point with your packed lunch and enough drinking water. You will be briefed on arrival before you head to the forest for the fascinating activity tracking the gorillas. You will then hit the jungle with a team ranger guides searching for these endangered apes. This activity takes you 2-8 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas and where they spent the previous night. You will be allowed to spend one hour with them from the time of contact watching them play, feed and rest. You are allowed to take as many pictures as you can to keep the memory and thereafter exit the forest back to the headquarters for a tracking certificate. Your guide/driver will then transfer you back to Kigali for your flight in the evening hours. This will mark the end of your trip.
